Community Involvement paws

Community InvolvementDr. Tim Chirpich and the staff of Raytown-Gregory Animal Health Center believe that it is impossible for a caring and thriving veterinary practice to be divorced from the community it serves. We all live in Raytown and the surrounding area and take great pride in the vibrancy of our people and communities. Without our friends and neighbors we simply would not be what we are today.

For these reasons we enjoy being a good neighbor and take every opportunity to do our part to sustain and strengthen this place that we call home. All of our doctors and staff volunteer or in some way participate in our schools, libraries, and municipal and civic organizations.

By way of example, Dr. Chirpich belongs to the Raytown Chamber of Commerce and is currently on its Board as well as a past Treasurer and president of that organization. He is also a member of the Raytown Rotary Club, where he has served as its Secretary and President, and a member of the Economic Development and Advisory Council in Raytown.

The Animal Health Center also routinely sponsors a number of animal-related fundraising events such as the Sausage Sprint, a Dachshund race associated with the Raytown Barbeque Cook-Off, and Howl-O-Ween, a fundraising event that benefits a number of local organizations.

One of our more important and dear-to-our-hearts activities is providing veterinary house-calls as a service to pet owners that may find it difficult to bring their companion animal to us for care.

In all, Raytown-Gregory Animal Health Center is very proud of our contributions—both in volunteer hours and financial—to our communities. We are but one patch of a very large quilt of people and organizations helping to sustain and make where we live a better place.
